“The Timeless Lift® provides both a lower facelift and neck lift. It provides the complete and natural, younger-you result you want –– one procedure, one cost, and one healing time.”
“According to my dermatologist, the neck starts to go at 43, and that’s that. You can put makeup on your face and concealer under your eyes and dye your hair, you can shoot collagen, Botox and Restylane into your wrinkles and creases, but short of surgery, there’s not a damn thing you can do about your neck. The neck is a dead giveaway. Our faces are lies and our necks are the truth. You have to cut open a Redwood tree to see how old it is, but you wouldn’t have to if it had a neck.”
The late journalist, essayist and humorist, Nora Ephron, got it right in her 2006 bestseller, I Feel Bad About My Neck, when she said that the neck is one of the first places to show our age and also one of the toughest places to hide it. Ephron also spoke the truth when she said that surgery is the only way to eliminate or minimize the crepe-like skin and wrinkly neck that quite honestly are very much a part of the natural aging process.
What can you do about your wrinkly, aged-looking neck?
Today’s #1 preferred minimally invasive lower facelift and neck lift –- the Timeless Lift™ –– gets rid of loose skin in the face and jowls and also helps to lift and smooth the skin in the neck.
What are the advantages of the Timeless Lift® as a neck lift?
With the Timeless Lift®, both the lower face and neck area are addressed in this one procedure, as performed by face and neck rejuvenation surgeon specialist, Dr. Robert J. Smyth. That means one procedure, one cost and one healing time.
Patients are also happier with the results because both the face and neck are refreshed at the same time for the more complete younger-looking appearance they desire.
“The procedure delivers the neck lift results that our patients want –– a redefined and more youthful-looking jawline, the removal of excess skin, and smoother neck skin. Patients have the ability to once again wear necklines they like, not feel self-conscious about their neck, and like what they see when they see themselves in the mirror and in photos,” says Dr. Robert J. Smyth.
What is the healing time?
Like all procedures performed by Dr. Smyth, the lower facelift/neck lift is done under local anesthesia. Results are excellent, and the patient has a shorter recovery time without the risks associated with general anesthesia. Patients are kept entirely comfortable throughout the one to 1-1/2-hour-long procedure and are monitored by registered nurses in the outpatient treatment center of a renowned area hospital.
Patients return to Dr. Smyth’s office the morning after their procedure for a quick and painless dressing change (soft wrap around the face). Patients return again at eight days post-procedure for the painless removal of sutures. Most patients are back to work and activities at 10 days post-procedure.
How long will results last?
Results of the Timeless Lift facelift/neck lift will last six to 10 years depending on how well you take care of your skin. This means religious use of a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher when out in the sun for longer periods of time (pool, playing sports, beach, yard work), no smoking, plenty of sleep, following a healthy diet, and maintaining a steady weight (no major loss or gain of weight).
